This piece: "Out of the Blue" is made in a rare Acrylic Curved box that is 44" high and bout 20" wide by 3 1/2 thick. Other artists will show butterflies curving in a square box but you will not find another piece like this one where the artist has actually curved the acrylic.

This is extremely rare and takes great skill and patience to accomplish. This piece contains 37 Morpho Butterflies including 7 Giant Morpho mounted on acrylic posts for a realistic in-flight 3D view allowing the box to essentially disappear into the wall with the butterflies in-flight.

There were only 5 of these pieces ever created and only 2 are still available. With proper downlighting, reflecting the iridescent wings, this piece of art is truly stunning and will awe guests to your home.
