STAR TREK METAL DOME LUNCHBOX from Aladdin Industries 1968. This dome lunchbox, along with being extremely R-8 rare is one of the THE most sought-after boxes ever made.

A rare collaboration by two of the all-time best artists in the business - AL artistic directors Bob Burton and his predecessor Elmer Lehnhardt the box features the Starship Enterprise NCC-1701 on the front with various scenes of Captain James T. Kirk and Spock on the other panels. They put the bridge of the Enterprise on the bottom panel - nice fellas. Definitely one of my top ten boxes and simply a must have for the discriminating Trekkie made even more special by its important provenance described below. Lesser also added a few treasured sci-fi lunchboxes in extraordinary condition to his shelves.

An important and unique addition to any Star Trek or lunchbox collection! Condition: Box and Thermos are complete and correct (including the original wire thermos holder). Box lithos are very clean and glossy throughout.

No corner dents or dimples. The bottom - normally the most worn on these 60s vintage domes - is very clean with some minor rubbings. Inside of box is clean overall with some light rubbings in thermos area - with no previous owner markings. Box in overall Near Mint C-9 condition. Thermos lithos are clean and glossy throughout with no dents.
