You can research their facebook page Copper Turtles for more information on their process, etc. From what I read they use deer skull as the foundation for the turtle. Stones are uniquely placed in varying sizes to enhance the look of the piece. They have retired and are no longer making these.

This sea turtle is copper plated with real copper around the stones. This is a beautiful piece for the Turtle or Beach lover.
