OOAK Handmade Paperclay Witch Art Doll Vintage Clothing Halloween Nancy Malay

  
Nancy has been an artist for 45 years now and has had her art dolls published in multiple magazines and Wanda/Cordelia is no exception. She was published in Art Doll Magazine, Special Edition. Nancy sells her art thru her personal website, and at times with two other artists in the group; Artistry of Three. She is also a frequent artist in the well known jurored Halloween Show in Marshall Michigan known as The Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween.

Sculpted from paperclay, Cordelia features an armature of wire and cloth. Vintage lace trims her dress, and a crystal bug and a ball-and-claw hang from her belt. Her hair is black hand-dyed wool, with a pretty white streak on one side, and she carries that all-important battery-operated vinyl crystal ball. I have been her only owner and she has been displayed in a glass case, never handled or played with.

This is a true artist piece and a shining example of Nancy's finest works.
