Vintage one of a kind Hand Made Elaborately mounted hinged Coffin/Box. Dimensions are : 2 1/16" high , 7 3/4" long , 3 1.8" wide at its widest , with an interior box depth of 1 1/16" - Material is Walnut and gilt brass - Artist is unknown. This exquisite Coffin/Box is a work of art with old world workmanship and flair. It is a miniature coffin of the 6 sided'kite-shaped' type used in Europe.

It is elaborately mounted with foliage, vines, swags, shells and a winged angelic figure on the top. The body of the box itself is French polished walnut. The piece is hinged and can function as a box or simply display as the very fine work of art that it is. Reasonable offers are always considered.
