For sale is a one-of-a-kind Plumb Axe with a 4 lb head with a 36 in OAL. It appears to have been a gift or presented for some occasion as it has Dr. Dudley Guilford Homer, New York 1929 etched in the head. The etching and the Plumb stamp are beautiful and not marred at all. It has the original handle & much of the black paint still on the head.

It has 2 "Plumb wedge screws" in the eye. I think this axe was never used. It is a beautiful axe from my collection that I found at an estate sale in Kansas City a few years ago. It is in "as found" condition. I did not refurbish the axe in any way.
