An incredibly unusual piece of Crimean War origin. Russian Imperial 1834 model sidearm captured by the French during the war was dismantled and the blade mounted on a French cutlass cockerel shaped hilt. Both parts are in impeccable condition and properly connected to each other.
Such a hybrid would make proud any advanced Crimean War collection and there is certainly no other piece of this sort in existence.
