ONE OF A KIND Victorian Blue glass Poison bottle. Gold plated Skull cap c1860's. 18k gold plated Skull&snake cap The bottle is attached to a skull shaped brooch so it can be wear as a fob. The bottle is 6.5cm.

Together with the chain fob is 10cm long. The medicine poison bottles was always made to be notable and not mistaken with the regular medicine , so they was produced in cobalt blue, green or red colors. And beside the warming colors there was aways skull and bones emblem, so no doubt that there is a poison inside...

This bottle belonged to Dr. William Henry Broadbent-the personal physician to Queen Victoria. It comes from his large collection of Victorian medicine artefacts.
