Custom Designed, One-of-a-Kind Desk set for Mont Blanc with 100-year-old Post Office Box. This desk set was presented to me more than 20 years ago by a tremendous craftsman. I was an executive with the US Postal Service, and collected many Mont Blanc items.

It was custom crafted to be used with the refillable 50 ml Mont Blanc ink bottle, any of the 3 base Mont Blanc pen stands 144, 146, 149, etc. , and any Classique or Le Grande pen (dependent on which base is used). The heavy brass Post Office Box is a single-eagle combination lock, circa 1906. This is a large box size measuring 11" wide by 6" high. It is inset into a raised border of purple heart wood. There is a small compartment lined in red velvet material accessible when the box is opened. The combination is written on the bottom of the set. The stand itself is made of oak combined with three strings of purple heart wood. It measures approximately 20" wide by 11" high.

There are cut outs lined with red material for the ink bottle and pen stand. Included at no charge is the vintage Mont Blanc ink bottle.
