Kladruby, Letovice in Czech Republic. Plate is 15.5" x 14.5", largest skeleton is 6.5! This is simply a one-of-a-kind vertebrate fossil. It is a plate of FIVE articulated Discosauriscus austriacus amphibian skeletons from the Lower Permian strata of the Czech Republic. This amazing fossil was found years ago, and the site is now collected out and closed.

As everyone knows, Permian vertebrates are quite uncommon in the fossil record, and multiple examples are few and far between heck, trilobites were still around in the Permian! THIS IS THE ONLY PLATE OF FIVE DISCOSAURISCUS SKELETONS EVER FOUND TOGETHER, PERIOD! The skulls are well preserved, tightly articulated, and very easily seen. Many limbs are also intact, some complete down to the finger digits! The ribs, vertebrae, and tails are also well showcased.

All of the skeletons are naturally spaced on the large, semi-squared matrix plate (reinforced on the back and sides for stability). This is an extremely collectible vertebrate fossil, a museum quality multiple Amphibian plate is probably the best ever found.
