This is a previously owned tool. It does not appear to have been used. It is in excellent condition. The employee had sheparded this tool thru production years earlier - with the usual wood species all BCTW tools were made from in 1987 - and also one very, very unusual feature in the knob made from an extinct species of Mast odon. The employee, not liking screw heads showing on the brass faces in the tools they had made, left them out of this tool. It does not have any wear strip screws at all. This may be the only production AS-24 in existence that has no screws in it, I don't know. I've seen blanks with no screws, but never seen another example of full tool without them. All in all an incredibly rare piece here. If you're here, you know what you're looking at. You will receive exactly what you see pictured.
