Vintage Disneyland Mural-Pinocchio & Blue Fairy-One of a kind. From Disneyland
This outstanding and rare one of a kind hand painted piece of artwork was obtained from Disneyland Park during a remodeling phase over 30 years ago by workers. It once was displayed in the entrance to the Pinocchio ride.. Painted by Disney artists on wood and custom framed by the new owner, it is just under 4 feet diameter, heavy, and is a great wall display. Has the appearance of a giant round cel come to life on your wall. This is NOT a lithograph or print of any kind... Painted directly on board with plexiglass facing added for my display. 2 white spots are from light reflection during photo. In 1983, Disneyland's Fantasyland was in a phase of major overhaul. Some of Fantasyland's rides were relocated to make way for expanded versions of existing dark rides, as well as the addition of a new one. The posh redo of Fantasyland now resembled a rustic European village in the Alps, rather than a medieval fair. Snow White's Scary Adventures. Moved their respective loading areas and partial murals indoors. Peter Pan's Flight continued to feature a colorful mural that depicted the characters from the film. The riggings, lanterns, and other props from the restaurant were added to Peter Pan's Flight. An Audio-Animatronic Peter Pan was added to the ride. Looks great on the wall of your Disney Collector's Room. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Disneyana\Contemporary (1968-Now)\Limited Editions".
