This listing is for William Henry B05 Monarch. This is not a series knife. There are no other numbers of this knife in the world. This is the only one. This blade is part of the Collectors Series of One of a Kind William Henrys that were released Quarterly. The collectors knife features a Copper Wave Damascus blade. I personally enjoy seeing the multitude of color.

Its predictable in its unpredictability. The thumb and button stone are two sapphires positioned among a wave mokume frame and bolsters.

Mokume translates from Japanese to wood eye metal or wood grained metal. This is similar to the creation process of Damascus. It is a Japanese metalworking art which builds a unique variety of layered patterns. The intention is for the decorative visual effect. Both the process and the finished product are gorgeous.

The mokume of this knife follows its Damascus cousin. It flows like the ocean also in the wave pattern. The entire knife around the scales keep the same theme. This inlay of this one of a kind knife is from a fossilized wooly mammoth.

The natural grooves truly show how unique this piece of ancient history is. Running a finger across the scales of a mere pocket knife that was inside a massive extinct mammal is humbling. Roughly 10,000 years could fit in a denim pocket. Not only that, this is the first of my knives that Ive seen that the beads are also fossils.

Just those tiny 2 beads at the end of the leather straps are also prehistoric. Please, refer to the COA for referencing specifically about the.

The official signature and date on the left page. There is also a special slip spot where the clip case (sheath) can be placed.

There is some wear there from time on display of holding the clip case. It is shown in the box picture. If the clip case is shifted in its proper position on display, you cannot see the wear. Otherwise, unlike many boxes with fraying insert trays this box seems to be in good condition with only small spots of its age. The knife itself, the main attraction of the show, has NEVER been sharpened or carried.

It is in pristine condition. Please, do not hesitate to contact me with questions. I took a variety of pictures to try to get every angle but if you would like more just ask! If you like what you see make sure to check out my other William Henry listings! I only list one of each Collectible knife.

This means there are no doubles and no second-chances if you miss out on a knife. There will be more listed over time though. If you do fancy a certain type of knife whether it be the type of lanyard, display box it comes with, scale/inlay material, certain gems involved, koftgari, blade patterns, age of blade completion, size of set, silver, or gold etc, you can message me to see if I have anything along those lines unlisted as well. New ones are going up all the time. Keep an eye out or drop me a message.
