ONE OF A KIND antique Victorian Cranberry Red crystal&silver Poison bottle c1850. Solid silver engraved cap and silver warning tag with skull and crossed bones. The bottle is 10.3cm. The medicine poison bottles was always made to be notable and not mistaken with the regular medicine , so they was produced in cobalt blue, green or red colors.

And beside the warming colors there was aways skull and bones emblem, so no doubt that there is a poison inside... This bottle belonged to Dr. William Henry Broadbent-the personal physician to Queen Victoria. It comes from his large collection of Victorian medicine artefacts.
