Dalan Hargrave Original Carved Oregon Sunstone One of a Kind 354 Carats

  

Beautiful one of a kind carved Oregon Sunstone. Originally from the Snake Bite claim in Oregon, then given to World Renowned Gem and Lapidary Artist Dalan Hargrave from the mine owner Jim Cowan (now deceased). This piece is from very early on in Dalan's career and since then he has created some of the most mind blowing gem art around.

It is also one of the largest current carved Sunstone specimens available. The Eagle is flying through the clouds of the Schiller that are seen in the background of the stone. This piece is 354 carats which equals 70.8 grams and you can reference the pictures to verify the weight. The stone is roughly 2.25 inches long by 1.5 inches wide at the base and then tapers in. It has been hand carved and shaped with an eagle etched into one side as seen in the pictures.
