Great Old 6 Foot Folk Art Fish In Sardine Tin Seafood Trade Sign -one Of A Kind

  
A wonderful, large, and "one of a kind" old advertising sign depicting 5 sardine fish in a container with carved wood "key" to simulate the open roll of the giant can. The sign is about 6 ft 5 inches tall and 6 feet wide, about 10 deep. The can is made from aluminum, the realistic fish are hand painted fiberglass, and they are mounted against a hand painted wood backing. Condition: good overall, has had some touch-up to the fish, a few scattered cracks to the fiberglass. I have not examined the back but the aluminum looks to be in good shape. The item has been covered with a tarp, you can see part of it in the photo where the "rolled tin" is located. According to the estate, this was mounted at a seafood company circa 1970 but they didn't know the company name and there does not appear to be a maker name, though I did not see the backside.
