I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO SELL, BUT LIFE HAS IT'S WAY SOMETIMES. Important Rare One of A Kind Antique Reliquary-Mini Church, Italy 1860 - 40 Relics. Size, The Frame is 26 in X 21.5 in. The Reliquary Church is: 21 in X 17 in X 4 in depth. It is an exceptional piece. The gold inside still sparkles This very ornate Vatican sealed Reliquary is a scaled down Catholic Church. Sealed, signed and Dated 1860 on rear.

In March/1953 this was a gift from the Honorable Charles J. Re (Counsel General to San Marino Italy) to my parents on their wedding day. It has stayed in the "Re" family since then. All provenance is documented, and will be accompanied by notarized Affidavit of Provence.

I do not read Latin or Italian. Please feel free to ask any questions or to request any further photos. I have done a fair amount of comprehensive research, and I have not found anything quite like it.

I viewed hundreds of Reliquary's and old Portable altar/church's. Some of them very very beautiful, however none came close to this ornate elaborate Reliquary Church. The details and work within this 161 year old piece are stunning.
