Joe Camel Vintage One Of A Kind Press Proof Extremely Rare 1997

  

I have for sale a VERY RARE, ONE OF A KIND, VINTAGE item. It is a printing proof for a Joe Camel poster.

If you are not familiar with the printing business, the way this works is that a proof is made by the printer and approved by the customer before the job can be printed. There is only ONE proof per job, and this is the only proof in existence for this particular poster. A proof is made on thick, high quality photographic paper. Joe Camel was perhaps the original casualty of cancel culture. Government banned ads with him in it as a result of the late 90's cigarette lawsuit, saying that his image was used to lure kids into smoking.

It is is very good condition. It has been rolled up in a poster tube to protect it since I got it. There are a few very slight wrinkles / creases in the proof that were there when I obtained it. These are mostly visible in the main photo.

Now is a good time for me to sell this piece of history.
