Lee Epperson Sterling Silver Bear Sign Water Jar Pottery One-of-a-kind 1990s. The Water Jar - Each Indian clan was given a small jar before they began their migration. The were told that during their migration they would camp where there was no water. They we to plant the jar in the ground and, thereafter, for as long as they remained there, water would keep flowing out of this water planting place. This is a one-of-a-kind miniature sterling silver pot.

Lee's Sterling Silver pottery is first given life by shaping a block of wax. Once the pot is shaped and the story that Lee wishes to tell is drawn on the surface of the wax. The design is then deeply engraved into the wax using a dental tool. The lost was casting process is used to convert the wax into an original sterling silver piece of art.

This Water Jar Pot is heavy for its size. This Sterling Silver Pottery is so shiny that it picks up the colors around it... The dark spots are reflections from the camera.

This Water Jar pot is decorated with signs and symbols. The symbols and the bottom of the pottery has inlaid semiprecious stones. Condition is very, very good. No missing stones, dings or dents.

Marked Sterling on bottom and signed by the artist, Lee. PLEASE NOTE: The letter shown in the pictures is not offered with the item.
