Richard Nixon Extremely RARE reporter one of a kind Churchill crown coin 1966

  

This memento and letter was given to reporters that reported on Richard Nixon and his campaign.. The letter is a reproduction of the original letter sent to my Father. The memento is for my Father. The writing and signature are all PRINTED on the piece.

Nixon called the reporters " Birdwatchers of 1966". It was not hand signed by Nixon, but a printed signature. The bottom is worn, natural wear from sitting on a desk. I examined the piece carefully, and have found two what look like imperfections on the edge on the top. There are some scratches that have happened over the 57 years it has been with my Father. My father was a Newsman, a real Edward R.

Murrow Newsman, in Portland Oregon. He was the last of the real newsmen. This had been sitting on his desk for all of his time as a News Director.
