The all purpose liner (APL) is an improved poncho liner. A zipper attached from the bottom of the liner to the top on the side with the top of the liner being open when fully closed.
Double-sided zipper pulls at the top and bottom of the liner which allows the liner to be opened/closed from inside and outside the liner and to form a tube by leaving the bottom open, and. Solid black on both sides. The APL can be used separately, or as an inside liner to the sleeping bag of the 3 Season Sleep System. For additional warmth and comfort and to include the capability of emergency egress when combined with the sleeping bag. Military items may have been in government storage for an extended period of time. Therefore, some pieces may have dust or dirt. We don't consider this to negatively impact its condition. An example would be a trigger finger mitten appearing to be brand new (or they may actually be brand new) except for staining.
This staining causes the mittens to be downgraded from brand new to either like new or very good to excellent condition depending upon the extent of the staining. In this example the "intended use" of the trigger finger mittens is not affected by the staining which is to keep your hands nice and warm. In addition, some items may need laundering but all of the items we sell will be serviceable and any deficiencies noted in the listing will not affect the "intended use" of the item. Generally speaking GOOD means the item will be faded and will show more signs of previous use and needing laundered, and, in some cases, need minor repair.For example: Alice packs, LBTs, duffle bags, laundry bags and wet weather bags may have small holes, small tears, loose stitching or defective or missing snaps. However, these items are still serviceable and will not affect the intended use of the item. In most cases our GOOD condition simply means a lesser grade of VERY GOOD and may have been repaired or show signs of fading or minor defects but, again, will NOT affect the intended use of the item.
