Vintage MAINE crochet bedspread handmade wool from Maine sheep. One of a Kind

  
MAINE crocheted bedspread handmade with all natural wool from Maine sheep. I crocheted it over the winter of 1978-79 while living on Mt. Yarn came from a Maine woman who raised her own sheep and spun their wool. Crocheted in an old lace pattern where one long row is crocheted onto the next long row and so forth. The bedspread has been kept in a cedar chest. As it turns out, I'm allergic to wool! Photos show it on a double bed.

It's very nearly square at 90x88. I've got it placed on the bed where the rows are horizontal.

Works well on a Queen too. Would make a great wedding gift or a perfect bedspread for your Maine cottage.
