The solid silver case is entirely hand hammered and hand engraved, decorated with the typical Gothic style Grotesque mask, Cherubs, Grifins and a double faced head on the top representing a half human face and half skull face. This clock reminds that "Tempus Fugit" time flies. There was a gilding which is partially preserved.

The clock has the most precision for that time Fusee Cylinder escapement with a centra seconds handmuch more sofisticated and precision compare with the verge fusee movements.
