Star Wars IMPERIAL TIE FIGHTER - One of a kind - INCREDIBLE 1:38 scale model. E Fighter as it appears in the original 1977 Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope movie. Created from an amazingly accurate computer model which was prepared using measurements taken from an original filming miniature used by Industrial Light & Magic during the special effects filming for the movie, this is the most beautiful model for Star Wars fans. After completing the computer model, the individual parts were 3D printed and then meticulously assembled and painted by a very talented model maker who has been commissioned by eFX collectibles amongst other license holders due to his incredible model making talents. The TIE Fighter has been painted in the exact same colour as the original models.

It is more "grey" in real life, but photographs with a slightly blue tint. Featuring beautifully detailed interior with LED lighting effects that accurately create the same red "hue" that was seen in the full size set constructed for filming the live action TIE pilots inside. The lights are powered by two small batteries (not supplied) which are simply clipped into the battery retainer that is concealed behind the rear hatch of the model. Hatch is secured in place using magnets. The wings can be removed due to being fixed by two screws into the wing struts. The screw fixing is hidden by the wing end caps that are also secured in place using magnets.
