Welcome to my store: Item Description. My little Circus Bear by artist C. Just under 4 inches tall. One of a kind small teddy bear. Hand Made in the USA One-of-a-Kind OOAK.

This bear is new, stored in cabinet, although it has never been played with, it is from the artist's collection. Meet my little circus bear. Made of white distressed mohair. He wears a mauve ribbon circus ruffle and nothing else, so as to enjoy the loveliness of his form. He has a little leather tag, which is signed and dated. This little sweetheart was made in Sept of 1988, an early bear as it is also numbered no. 599 which means it was made back when Roosevelt Bears were consecutively numbered.

When you consider that well over 10,000 bears were made by the Roosevelt Bear Co, that is an early bear. He is made by hand, and was inspired by the little German Steiff bears of the same size. His pattern is very similar, and if anything it is in appreciation of the beauty and mastery of Steiff.

He has floss claws, and since he was made in 1988 he is, wow... He is a miniature teddy bear standing just about 4 inches tall.

He has a sweet sort of sad face. Just waiting to be cuddled, loved and adored by you.

He would make a wonderful gift for the teddy bear lover in your life, even if that is you!! When you consider that well over 10,000 bears were made by the Roosevelt Bear Co, this is a truly unique bear.
