For your consideration, from the China Treasures Egg collection, this is. What I'm calling a Shell. Crafted from fine ivory Lenox china, hand detailed with 24 karat gold and enamel "jewels". Egg is 3-3/4 in length.S are in the seafoam green / blue family. I can't stress how unusual is this presentation. There is a spot where the transfer and gold appears to have not taken to the china and is pointed out in the fourth image with blue arrow and then a close-up. Due to the extreme rarity of this egg, I would not diminish the value. Egg and stand are 5 tall. The stand was made for Lenox by Kirk Stieff and is marked "Lenox" on one of the legs.
