Rare, rare, one-of-a-kind commemorative model of the XB-70A presented to Gerhard "Gary" Stroh. Vice President and General Manager of the B-70 Division of.

North American Aviation, Inc who worked on the XB-70A Valkyrie fighter bomber at Edwards Air Force Base in the 1960s. This model came from Mr. Stroh's personal collection as preserved by his daughter, Judith Stroh Miller, in Taos, New Mexico.

The model is signed by pilots Al White and Don Mallick on the left rear wing and original pilot Joe Cotton and final flight pilots Fitzhugh "Fitz" Fulton and Emil "Ted" Sturmthal on the rear right wing. The stand for the model is shaped in a stylized XB-70 shape and has a plaque that reads To G. Stroh WARMEST REGARDS XB-70 PILOTS AND CREW EAFB. Included are 2 8x10 black and white photographs of Mr. Stroh with Supervisor Warren M. Dorn in which you can see a similar XB-70 model, a 4x5 black and white photograph of Mr. Stroh on the tarmac for the XB-70A rollout at Edwards with the plane in the background, and a newspaper clipping of Mr.

Dorn presenting a similar model to State Senator Randolph Collier in 1965. The entire piece is in very good vintage condition. The plastic of the model is somewhat yellowed with age and the nose has some paint wear.

The signatures are strong and have stood the test of time. The metal and foam base is in very good and solid condition. All of the photographs are excellent in uncirculated condition.
