Miss Prissy was created by Robert McKimson, Director of animation art for Warner Brothers Studios. She is described as a spinster old hen who lives in the yard of her love interest Foghorn Leghorn. She first appeared in 1950 in the only cartoon featuring her and Porky Pig. This particular cartoon was especially amusing because Mss.

Prissy takes on two voices, the first by Mel Bland in the high pitched "Yah-essssssll" Prissy's catchphrase and the other by Bea Benaderet. She next appeared in 1951 in which she is set on finding a husband. Prissy has been voiced by Mel Blanc, June Foray, Bea Benaderet and Tress M.
